SOCCER!!

Listening carefully for directions

Connor has finally found a sport that he loves! Soccer!!! He plays at this wonderful facility called Soccerzone. We were introduced to this place from my friend Andrea. Her son Bailey and Connor are friends and go to school together. So they invited us for "bring a friend week" and Connor was hooked. It's so nice because they play indoors. We had tried the YMCA, but they play outdoors and the wind really bothers Connor's implants. So, this is a huge difference. He is so happy and looks forward to playing every week.

Easter Egg Hunting

Getting Ready!
Hunting for eggs with his friends!
I see more!Connor's class after the egg hunt!

Today was a really fun day. We had our Easter Egg Hunt at school. As luck would have it, my kids were on the playground at the same time Connor's class was starting their hunt! So I snuck over and watched him hunt! And man, he's fast! The boy likes candy, what can I say! He had a great time and I was so thankful that I got to watch!

Happy Easter!!!

Family Photos

Wednesday April 1st was our 6 year anniversary and we marked the day by having family pictures taken by a wonderful lady named Amy Brown. She took all of the pictures in her backyard and we were in and out in 30 minutes! We are so thrilled with the results and I am happy to share them with you. She gave us the CD, so if anyone wants any of the pictures, just let me know. We took our dog Heidi because we wanted some pictures of Connor with her and they are by far my absolute favorite. Connor and Heidi have this special bond and I think it shows in the pictures. Enjoy!

Daddy and Connor enjoying lunch at the Oasis
We had a great day today. We had lunch at the Oasis followed by some shopping at Lakeline Mall. As we were walking throught the mall, Connor stopped dead in his tracks and stared the big, giant bunny down. We asked him if he wanted to take his picture with the Easter Bunny and he reluctanly said yes! So we waited in line and low and behold he didn't freak out. MIRACLE! The picture turned out really cute and he was so excited! We came home and the boys went outside and washed the truck and Connor rode his big wheels up and down our street for what seemed like hours! Tomorrow we are off to pick strawberries in Marble Falls.

Sneak Peak

Connor is asleep, Ray is in the shower and I should be sleeping. But lucky for all of you, I'm not. We have had a great time while Ray has been here. We have been to Chili's, Chuck E Cheese, Texan Cafe (hometown resturant), bowling twice and the list goes on. We are kind of at a stand still now because we know he leaves again in 3 days, so we have been hanging out at home. The boys have wrestled, played light sabers, cleaned out the garage and have just all around really enjoyed being together.
We had our pictures taken on our 6 year anniversary and they really turned out great! I will be adding a bunch of posts with pictures to follow. I promise to blog more once I have things go back to "normal".

So, it's been awhile.

I just wanted to say hi and let everyone know that I am still here and so is Ray. He is leaving Tuesday. I haven't written in awhile because my hard drive crashed in my laptop where I store all my photos. Ray has fixed it so I am good to go now! It's been 6 yrs today since Ray joined the Army. It feels longer. Tomorrow we are going to his favorite resturant, Abuelos then off to do some shopping.

Will write more later with pictures!
